Responsibilities:
• Develop and Implement Safety Policies: Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and company guidelines.
• Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to identify safety hazards, unsafe practices, and equipment deficiencies. Implement corrective actions promptly.
• Risk Assessments: Perform risk assessments to evaluate potential hazards and recommend measures to mitigate risks.
• Safety Training: Organize and conduct safety training sessions for employees, subcontractors, and visitors. Topics may include fall protection, hazard communication, scaffolding safety, etc.
• Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine causes and recommend preventive measures.
• Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures. Conduct drills to ensure readiness.
• Safety Meetings: Coordinate and conduct regular safety meetings with project teams to discuss safety concerns, inspections, and initiatives.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspections, training, incidents, and corrective actions. Prepare and submit reports to management as required.
• Safety Culture Promotion: Promote a positive safety culture by encouraging safe behaviors, recognizing safety achievements, and fostering accountability.
• Stay Updated: Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Implement improvements as necessary.
Requirements:
• ADNOC Approved or Previous experience with ADNOC projects
• Proven experience of 15 years as HSE Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations.
• Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership qualities and able to handle the team.
• Certification in Occupational Health and Safety preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
• Based in UAE and available to join immediately.
